The successful candidate will plan and coordinate deliveries, manage driver hours and ensure full compliance with transport regulations. Key responsibilities - Plan daily and weekly delivery schedules to optimise vehicle utilisation and use the most efficient routes - Allocate work to drivers and manage rotas, ensuring legal drivers' hours and rest breaks are adhered to - Monitor compliance with driving licence and vehicle documentation requirements - React to operational issues (delays, vehicle breakdowns, traffic) and re-route as required - Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on performance and compliance - Liaise with various teams throughout the company What we're looking for - Previous transport planning experience with demonstrable experience planning deliveries - Experience managing drivers' hours and ensuring regulatory compliance - Driving is essential due to the location of the role; you must hold a full UK driving licence - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure - Good IT skills, including experience w...
