Catholic Regional College Sydenham, founded in 1982, is a Catholic senior school serving students in the West of Melbourne. It is part of the Catholic Regional College Federation, which includes 7-10 Colleges at St Albans, North Keilor, and Caroline Springs. We are seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the role of Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager is a senior member of the College’s Finance and Administration team, reporting to the Business Manager. The role involves supporting the College's financial viability and resource management. It is a full-time, ongoing position starting as soon as possible.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Qualifications and experience in accounting or business management
* Proficiency in accounting standards, budgeting, and taxation
* Advanced skills in Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Excel, and databases
* Strong initiative, problem-solving, and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and take initiative
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Previous experience in a school environment
* CPA membership
* Knowledge of education sector operations and the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022
* Experience with Synergetic, ICON - ESIS, and EFIN databases
* Proven team-working skills and ability to foster positive relationships
* Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
