Role: Sous Chef
As Sous Chef, you'll be the Head Chef's go-to for support, leading and engaging the kitchen team to deliver 14 great shifts week in, week out.
You'll be leading shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs effectively and safely. Your attention to detail will be vital in managing stocks, Health & Safety, Hygiene, and manning the pass to ensure our food is on-spec, on-time, and up to 5* standards. You'll be proactive and hands-on, like a chef's bonnet.

What you'll bring
* Experience as a Sous Chef or a Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager seeking the next step
* Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (food prep, cleaning, knife skills, hygiene)
* A proactive work ethic, leading from the front and maintaining high standards
* Driven and relentless in overcoming challenges
* Familiarity with KPIs and decision-making in the absence of the Head Chef regarding labour, stock, and food safety
* Excellent communication skills for managing stakeholders and building rapport with Ops Chefs and Managers
* Knowledge of rota scheduling, sales, labour forecasts, recruitment, and HR practices
* Proven success in training and recruiting kitchen staff, including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs, and Sous Chefs
