Senior Support Worker – Lead, Shape & Make a Lasting Difference Salary: £14.75 per hour Hours: 36.25 hours per week (Days) Contract: Permanent (Full-time) Driving: Full UK driving licence preferred (held for at least 1 year – community access required) This is more than a Senior Support Worker role - it’s a rare opportunity to help build a brand-new specialist service from the very beginning. At SDR Care, you’ll play a key role in supporting a young adult with autism, a learning disability, ADHD, and complex behavioural needs to settle into a new home, build independence, and access meaningful daily experiences. As a senior member of the team, you won’t just be delivering care - you’ll be helping to shape the culture, set the standard, and influence how the service operates from day one. You’ll lead by example, support and guide colleagues, and play a vital role in creating a safe, structured, and genuinely person-centred environment. The role requires experience supporting an individual who present with dysregulated behaviour, which may at times include aggression. You will need to bring a calm, consistent, and person-centred approach, ensuring safe and effective support at all times.
