We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Recruitment Consultant to support our rapid expansion across construction and project delivery operations. This role requires deep knowledge of the construction sector and the ability to identify and attract high-performing professionals across live project environments.
The successful candidate will work closely with construction directors, project managers, commercial leads, and technical teams to secure top-tier talent capable of delivering complex residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
* Build a strategic matrix of target organisations including main contractors, subcontractors, developers, engineering consultancies, and specialist construction firms.
* Headhunt high-calibre professionals across construction project teams, including site management, commercial, technical, and engineering disciplines.
* Map competitor project teams and identify passive talent working on comparable schemes and developments.
* Recruit across key functions such as Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, Planners, Design Managers, Engineers, Building Services Managers, Health & Safety Managers, and Document Controllers.
* Conduct detailed competency and project-based interviews to assess technical expertise, delivery capability, and site experience.
* Partner with hiring managers to understand project programmes, construction methodologies, sequencing, and workforce requirements.
* Provide salary benchmarking and market intelligence specific to construction roles and regional labour conditions.
* Manage the full recruitment lifecycle including talent identification, shortlisting, interview coordination, referencing, negotiation, and offer management.
* Develop long-term talent pipelines aligned to upcoming developments and project mobilisation phases.
* Represent the company professionally across construction, property development, engineering, and infrastructure sectors.
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience recruiting within construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, or property development sectors.
* Strong network across main contractors, residential developers, subcontractors, and construction consultancies.
* Clear understanding of construction project lifecycles, site operations, and technical project roles.
* Demonstrated ability to headhunt passive professionals with specialist construction expertise.
* Strong knowledge of commercial and technical construction positions.
* Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Advanced research, competitor mapping, and talent intelligence capability.
* Ability to manage multiple live vacancies across fast-paced project environments.
* High level of professionalism, discretion, and commercial awareness.
