Salary: Up to £13 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time - 36 hours per week
Shifts: Days - 8am to 8pm
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to join a well-established residential care home in Walsall. The home specialises in providing high-quality care for residents living with Dementia, Mental Health conditions, and Physical Disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering person-centred care, with proven experience in a senior role within a residential or nursing home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support a team of care staff on shift
* Ensure the highest standards of care are consistently provided
* Assist in developing and implementing care plans
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal policies
* Mentor and support junior staff and provide guidance where needed
Requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) - essential
* Previous experience working in a Senior Carer or Team Leader role
* Strong understanding of care standards and CQC regulations
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Compassionate and professional approach to care
