We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Controls Engineer/Manager to join our team and provide comprehensive support for civil engineering projects within our framework. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering project management, particularly with a focus on cost control, scheduling, risk management, and project reporting. This role requires an individual who thrives in dynamic environments and has the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high standard of quality and performance. Key Responsibilities: Cost Control: Develop and maintain project cost control procedures. Scheduling & Planning: Develop and manage detailed project schedules, including baseline schedules, and ensure adherence to project timelines. Risk Management: Identify project risks, including technical, schedule, and financial risks. Reporting & Communication: Prepare periodic project performance reports for internal and external stakeholders. Contract & Procurement Support: Assist in the procurement process by reviewing contractor and vendor bids for compliance with the project’s cost and schedule requirements. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to project controls standards, frameworks, and best practices. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience in project controls, ideally within civil engineering or large infrastructure projects. Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore). Strong understanding of project cost management, scheduling, and risk management principles. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of civil engineering terminology, construction processes, and industry standards. Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, AACE, or similar) are highly desirable. Desirable Skills: Experience in frameworks and long-term civil engineering contracts. Exposure to a variety of project types including roads, bridges, utilities, and other infrastructure works.
