Property Damage Paralegal - Bristol Litigation Legal Executive / Paralegal – The role sits within the property damage and liability team in the Bristol office of this major law firm. Previous experience in property damage would be a clear advantage. This is an excellent role for a bright, ambitious paralegal or claims handler with a proven litigation background. Overview Job title: Paralegal / Claims Handler Location: Bristol Salary: to £30,000 Reports to: Partner Previous Experience: Candidates should ideally have a strong academic profile coupled with relevant experience. Fantastic team in which to develop commercial insurance experience Cases will be progressed from pre-litigation stage all the way through to settlement or litigation as required. These cases vary in value and complexity, from low value cases to multi-million-pound disputes. Reporting into a Senior Associate and a Partner, the successful candidate will carry a caseload of subrogated recovery matters. In particular, the team is looking for: A sound understanding of pre-litigation and litigation procedures. Excellent communication and team working skills. Self-motivated and adept at problem-solving Excellent attention to detail. Other skill sets considered Property damage / subrogated experience is obviously preferred but the Partners have stated they will consider other skill sets.
