Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Duties
* Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and cooking.
* Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food production.
* Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene practices.
* Collaborate with management to develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentation.
* Manage inventory and ordering of kitchen supplies to minimise waste and ensure availability of ingredients.
* Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements where necessary to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
* Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
* Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
* Previous experience in restaurant settings is highly desirable.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
