*JOB SUMMARY*
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Boiler Service & Breakdown Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of boiler systems. *KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Conduct routine servicing and maintenance on domestic boilers to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Respond promptly to breakdown calls and diagnose faults in heating systems.
* Carry out repairs and installations of boilers and associated systems.
* Provide reliable and informative customer service, explaining technical issues and solutions to clients.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
* Stay updated with industry regulations and safety standards.
*QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS*
* Relevant qualifications in plumbing and heating (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds).
* Proven experience in servicing and repairing a range of boiler types (e.g., combi, system, and conventional boilers).
* Experience and certified with Domestic Natural Gas & appliances.
* OFTEC or competency in oil services.
* Desirable: experience with LPG.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
* Experience with wiring both S and Y plan systems and controls would also be desirable.
* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
* Full UK driving license. Max 6 points.
