Are you passionate about improving outcomes for children with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties? Do you have an HND Child Development qualification or equivalent transferrable skills and experience, a love of the outdoors and a desire to try something new? If so, this may be the post for you.
We are looking for a Nature Nurture Practitioner to join our team.
Your role will be to provide targeted nature nurture outdoor intervention to children, to foster positive relationships, emotional resilience, and enhance self‑esteem and self‑awareness.
Fixed‑term for a period not exceeding 02/07/2026.
Requirements
The post requires at least one reference from a current or most recent employer.
It is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more abroad in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre‑employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
