Were looking for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants at a unique school for 11:16:year:olds with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our school blends traditional academic values with a caring, specialised approach to help students thrive both in and outside the classroom.
Your Role: As a Teaching Assistant, youll be instrumental in supporting students learning and personal development. Youll help create a positive and inclusive atmosphere where students feel encouraged, confident, and ready to learn. Your support will be key to helping them grow academically, emotionally, and socially.
What Youll Do:
* Build strong, supportive connections with students, boosting their confidence and well:being.
* Encourage independence and uphold high standards of behaviour and engagement.
* Assist in creating and delivering exciting, tailored learning activities.
* Support teachers in managing the classroom and ensuring smooth daily operations.
* Respond to the unique needs of each student with flexibility and creativity.
* Collaborate with a diverse, multi:professional team to meet students individual needs.
What Were Looking For:
* A positive attitude and a real passion for working with young people.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
* No previous experience needed : full training is provided.
* A commitment to safeguarding and protecting young people.
* Creativity, patience, and an ability to adapt to meet students needs.
