We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Dental Nurses/Receptionist to work within our practices in Hexham and Crawcrook. Candidates need to have a minimum of grade 4 at GCSE/ grade C at O-level in both Maths and English. No experience is required as full training will be given and successful candidates will be enrolled on the course to study for a Diploma in Dental Nursing.
The role involves giving chairside assistance the dentist/ hygienist and facilitating the treatment of patients. Processing instruments through decontamination room and following full sterilisation procedure. Keeping surgery clean and tidy. Reception duties include welcoming patients into the practice and processing their paperwork. Answering the phones, booking appointments on the computer system, we use R4 and taking payments and cashing up at the end of the day.
Candidates should be computer literate, possess good communication skills, be able to work without supervision and use their own initiative.
