The Business
Personalised Diagnostics (PDX) is a digital startup in the healthcare sector providing technical solutions to our clients and partners. We are launching services in a variety of sectors across human and animal health. We build high quality cloud based software solutions that allow our clients to deliver services to their customers.
The Role
You will be working within the Product Development team as a Full Stack Developer. Our development approach is agile, focussed on simple and intuitive designs and experiences.
The domain is broadly in Healthcare (human and animal) but the specifics will vary depending on the project. There will be lots of shared functions between the areas, but the changing requirements of the different sectors we are developing in should be broad enough to keep a good variety in your life.
The Reality of the Role:
As a startup, we've had to move quickly to bring products to market, which means parts of our codebase need love: unit tests are incomplete, some legacy areas need refactoring, and documentation could be stronger. We're looking for someone who not only enjoys building new features but is motivated to strengthen and improve what's already there. You should be comfortable jumping between projects, making sense of evolving priorities, and helping bring order and structure to a fast-moving environment.
