About This Role
As an Account Manager, you will expand the network of agents in the designated territory of Edinburgh/Glasgow. You will present the RIA Money Transfer Services Limited as a business opportunity, sign agents up, and maintain strong relationships, ensuring long‑term loyalty. Basic salary £28,000‑£32,000 + commission.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Develop, retain and manage a portfolio of agent businesses to provide RIA money transfer services.
* Present RIA to potential agents and manage the full sales process: prospect identification, cold calling, face‑to‑face meetings, presentations and demonstrations.
* Spend approximately 90% of time recruiting new agents and developing existing ones.
* Manage sign‑up, set‑up and training of agents; provide solutions for any challenges.
* Build and maintain relationships with agents for long‑term loyalty.
* Demonstrate the value of RIA’s service proposition with solid financial and business acumen.
* Provide day‑to‑day POS material, system and compliance training to agents.
* Grow transaction volume by being a visible marketplace presence and implementing local marketing plans.
* Respond promptly to information requests from the company and agents.
* Represent RIA professionally at events to acquire new leads and contacts.
* Stay updated on money transfer industry issues and gather competitor intelligence.
* Maintain a competition database and report regularly to the Regional Manager and Sales Manager.
* Complete weekly reports and submit to manager.
* Attend sales meetings regularly.
Qualifications
* Fluent in English and at least one additional language.
* At least 2 years of field sales experience (preferred).
* Experience with money transfer companies is a bonus.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
