Role/Responsibilities
This role sits within a team that is responsible for growing Moody’s Analytics’ content business into new areas. Specifically, this role will focus on extending our content-set to accommodate certain market needs we currently do not address.
Working closely with various stakeholders, such as other Product Strategists, Developers, UX Designers, Salesforce, Account Managers, Moody's Investor Service rating groups and others, you will contribute to the creation of a new flagship content-set / offering.
In this role you will support a wide variety of activities that are core to the successful creation and launch of a new content set. You will be involved in managing products through their respective lifecycles and executing against Go-to-Market plans, gathering market intelligence and establishing market requirements, translating market needs into tailored product requirements, creating and pitching business plans to senior management around new service offerings.
Responsibilities:
• Be the leader of your business area by advocating for the customer, owning outcomes and driving to decisions that have positive impact
• Work closely with the Team Lead to:
- Assess and validate market needs through close interactions with customers and market participants more in general
- Define the offering
- Define content specifications
- Drive product development process in collaboration with the several stakeholders involved
- Support the development and execution of the Go-To-Market plan
- Support the launch and enhance the new product/content-set
- Support Sales and Service organisations in achieving sales and customer satisfaction objectives
• Produce strategic business analysis to support investment decisions, marketing initiatives, product development and strategic planning
• Develop strategies to enhance customer value, grow revenue and manage costs of existing product portfolio
• Make prioritization decisions to orient investments, keeping customer needs at the core of those decisions
• Develop presentations for internal and external audiences. Support the development marketing materials for pitching products to prospective customers. Educate sales force about products at team meetings, off-sites and product road-shows
• Assist in development of yearly sales forecasts and business plans, and track performance throughout the year. Analyze key product performance metrics related to marketing initiatives and communications campaigns
• Assist in development of external distribution channels and 3rd party licensing agreements
• Represent Moody's at investor meetings, company-sponsored events and third-party conferences, as it pertains to the new offering being developed
Qualifications
• Leadership, strong analytic skills, excellent communication and presentation skills and a very solid understanding of global capital/credit markets
• Experience in strategic planning, marketing, product management or management consulting is a plus
• Experience in conceiving, managing and marketing analytical products including the design and launch of new features
• Ability to present a clear business case to executive leaders in order to secure investment in your strategies
• Have owned business initiatives from ideation to completion and can articulate outcomes using data and client insights
• A self-starter, able to drive projects to conclusion and work effectively with a variety of people at various levels within the company. Ability to excel in a global, team-based environment
• Able to influence stakeholders through clear understanding of the business needs using evidence to back up your proposals
• Consistent track record in understanding customer needs, working across a variety of functional teams, developing solutions, and launching products
• You take ownership of the results - track critical metrics and use them to drive decision-making about what's next
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage and prioritize several projects at once, able to work and communicate proactively, without close supervision
• Quick learner; shows initiative and willingness to learn new things; can build strong professional relationships at all levels, with both internal and external parties

The team develops strategies to grow revenue and manage expenses of existing service offerings, executes against Go-to-Market plans, gathers market intelligence, and establishes market requirements for services, and initiates ideas and business plans for new products.
