Win as a Team
We are currently recruiting for a Property & Casualty Underwriter to join our Underwriting team in Glasgow on a hybrid basis.
You’ll make an impact by:
1. Underwriting and negotiating new and/or existing Property & Casualty business within your authority
2. Building and maintaining excellent broker relationships through regular engagement
3. Applying pricing strategies and risk assessment techniques to drive profitable growth
4. Collaborating with colleagues to share insights and improve underwriting practices
5. Contributing to process improvements and supporting broker team ideas
6. Representing our brand at broker meeting, industry events and field visits as needed
Your skills and experience:
7. Experience of Property & Casualty Insurance from either an Underwriting or Broking backing is desirable. However, we are prepared to consider candidates with other financial services experience
8. A sharp eye for detail and a head for strategy
9. Existing Broker relationships would be beneficial
10. Excellent communication skills
11. The ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers
