At the Wiltshire DA service, we are committed to supporting individuals and families affected by domestic abuse to rebuild their lives in safety and dignity. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Support Worker to join our team and provide high-quality, person-centred support to survivors across our supported accommodation services.
About the Role
As a Domestic Abuse Support Worker, you will be responsible for managing referrals, supporting residents from their first day in service to resettlement, and liaising with multiple agencies to ensure safeguarding, wellbeing, and long-term housing solutions. You ll be the frontline contact in helping vulnerable individuals regain control, independence, and stability in their lives.

About you
Experience supporting vulnerable individuals, ideally in a domestic abuse or housing support context
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and multi-agency working
Ability to manage a busy and emotionally demanding caseload with sensitivity and professionalism
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Confidence in dealing with tenancy-related issues and housing management tasks
Understanding of welfare benefits, housing law, and local authority procedures (desirable)
For this role you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle - mileage will be paid additionally
