VMware Principal Consultant – Cloud Foundation (VCF5 / VCF9)
Location: Remote with occasional site visits as required
Contract Type: Contract – Associate Role (Engaged per assignment)

Pay Rate: £500-£600/day(Inside IR35)
Clearance: SC Clearance required
Overview
We are looking for a VMware Principal Consultant with strong experience in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) 5 and readiness for VCF9 deployment and certification. This is a senior consulting role supporting high-security customer environments and requires active SC Clearance.
As part of the associate consultant network, you will be engaged on specific customer projects, designing and delivering advanced VMware solutions that use automation and cloud native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, deploy and enhance VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions, including upgrades to VCF9
* Work closely with customers to optimise and customise VMware environments
* Lead automation and integration initiatives using PowerShell, Python or JavaScript
* Support vRealize and Aria Automation and Aria Operations solutions
* Create technical documentation, designs and knowledge transfer materials
* Collaborate with project teams to ensure secure and compliant solution delivery
Skills and Experience
* Proven hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), ideally VCF5 with exposure to VCF9
* Active SC Clearance is essential for project access
* VCP-VCF certification required
* Additional VMware certifications such as vRealize or Aria Automation and Aria Operations preferred
* Strong automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, Python or JavaScript
* Excellent documentation and stakeholder engagement skills

* Contractors are engaged on an as-needed basis
* Payment is based on days actively worked on customer assignments
