We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager for a contract or permanent role with astrong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) practices within the Telecoms industry. The ideal candidate will be proficient in ITIL service management practices, possess extensive knowledge and insight into service management tooling. Responsibilities: Lead and manage projects related to IT Service Management, including the installation, upgrade, or merging of ITSM systems. Provide expertise and guidance on service management tooling, leveraging insights to optimise processes and improve efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop project plans, schedules and monitor progress against established timelines and milestones. Identify and mitigate risks, and proactively address issues that may impact project delivery. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, updates, and key decisions effectively. Essential Skills & Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management. Proficiency in ITIL service management practices and principles. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects involving the installation, upgrade, or merging of ITSM systems. Telecoms industry experience Desirable: In depth knowledge and experience with the BMC product suite Previously successfully delivered projects involving the installation, upgrade, or merging of ITSM systems Experience of big data integration and data analytics Qualifications: Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science/IT or related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) and or Prince2 certification is a plus. Strong understanding of service management tooling, with the ability to leverage data analytics for informed decision-making. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
