The role in a nutshell:
Share your time in one of our volunteer roles, either directly supporting or contributing to our organisation's work with and for the older people who need us most across our four boroughs, Halton, St Helen's, Warrington and Knowsley. We'll share with you the volunteer roles currently available and you can select which one best matches how you'd like to give your time.
What will you be doing?
Depending on the volunteer role you select, you may become an Admin/Reception Supporter, Marketing & Social Media Assistant, Group Activity Supporters, Digital Champions, Wellbeing Befriending Supporter, Lived Experience Panel, Fundraising Supporter, Handyperson or any upcoming opportunities.
How would you be supported in this role?
In addition to providing you any relevant training for the role, we will also provide you with check-ins, a key worker, reasonable expenses are covered to ensure you are best supported as a volunteer.
Why do we need volunteers in this role?
Our organisation involves volunteers in the delivery of our services and operations to help us reach as many older people in need of our services as possible. The time and talents volunteers offer play a vital role in the successful delivery of Age UK Mid Mersey's mission.

How often do we need your help?
Our current roles are weekdays only, between 9 am pm. Preferably, 2-5 hours per week.
