Role: Workday Financials Systems Analyst
Location: Central London, hybrid
Base Salary: Up to £90,000 + bonus
A global financial services organisation specialising in insurance and reinsurance are seeking a Workday Financials Systems Analyst to support and enhance their Workday Financials and Workday Travel & Expenses (T&E) platforms across their European operations.
This role will support the continued rollout and operational management of Workday Financials and associated integrations as additional countries are deployed throughout the year. Working alongside existing team members, you will play a key role in ensuring the platform remains stable, scalable, and aligned to global finance processes. The role is focused more on BAU configuration, enhancement, and systems support rather than end-to-end implementation delivery.
Key Responsibilities of the Workday Financials Systems Analyst:
* Provide third-line support for Workday Financials and Workday T&E.
* Partner with business users to troubleshoot issues and support system improvements.
* Ensure global design standards are maintained across finance systems while supporting local business requirements where needed.
* Work closely with project teams and third-party support providers on system changes and enhancements.
* Support testing, release reviews, and deployment activities, ensuring all changes are fully documented and approved.
* Assist with user training and ongoing support for newly deployed countries.
* Collaborate with HRIS/HCM teams on system security and access management.
Key Requirements of the Workday Financials Systems Analyst:
* Proven experience with Workday Financials, either as a user, administrator, or consultant.
* Strong understanding of key finance processes including: Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
* Exposure to Prism Analytics and Accounting Center is beneficial.
* Experience supporting global system implementations or transformation programmes.
* Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
* Insurance or financial services industry experience is advantageous.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
