We are currently recruiting Bank (as-needed) Home Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-led care across Edinburgh. This flexible role is ideal if you're looking for work that fits around your other commitments – you choose your own availability, with a minimum of just 12 hours per month.
What You Can Expect From Us
* Weekly Pay: £12.60 per hour on weekdays
Up to £14.25 per hour on weekends
o 12.07% holiday pay, paid on top of your hourly rate (so you'll earn £14.12 – £15.96 per hour including holiday uplift)
* Flexible Shifts: Choose from Morning (07:00–14:00) or Evening (16:00–22:00) – you tell us your availability
* Training & Development: You'll receive robust, fully paid induction training and opportunities for ongoing development, including support with SSSC registration and SVQs

* Mileage Paid: Travel between clients is reimbursed
Your Role Will Include:
* Delivering compassionate, respectful personal care to people in their own homes
* Supporting with daily living tasks like medication prompts, meal preparation, mobility, and household routines
* Promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
* Supporting clients with a range of needs, including learning disabilities and long-term conditions
* Communicating clearly and recording care in line with professional standards
