Qualifications:
* Degree/HND/HNC in Construction / Engineering.
* Relevant competency skills cards required for site-based work.
Experience and Skills:
* Solid background in planning for construction projects and a strong understanding of pre-construction and tendering processes.
* Experience in planning for a wide range of build contracting projects.
* Proficiency in software such as Primavera / Asta Power Project.
* Experience from preconstruction and tendering.
* Understanding of commercial and contractual forms of contract.
* Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management.
Responsibilities:
* Input into setting the Project Planning Policy.
* Provide timely contract planning information to Pre-Construction & Project Management Teams.
* Develop programme schedules to control the project lifecycle.
* Update schedules based on project progress and status.
* Create detailed schedules for subcontracts to prevent interface conflicts and ensure resource availability.
* Develop labour cost/resource profiles based on estimates, budgets, and forecasts.
* Forecast potential issues and propose solutions for proactive management.
* Assess variation events.
* Manage supply chain programmes in line with contract requirements.
* Perform ad hoc duties as required.
