Overview
NHS Grampian Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is an inclusive, values based multi‑disciplinary team including Clinical and Applied Psychology, Psychotherapy, Clinicians, Allied Health Professionals, Nursing, Psychiatry, Admin, Business and Support staff. Our team ethos promotes patient‑centred care, efficiency and a culture that values, enables and develops our staff.
Service and Setting
We provide services across the full age range (0‑18) covering the Grampian region with geographically based teams (City, Shire and Moray) and a specialist CAMHS Hub. The service offers 1:1 therapeutic work, family work, group work, specialist work streams and consultation, early intervention, departmental research/audit, and local and national teaching/training. It is part of the North of Scotland regional CAMHS Tier 4 network and works closely with the regional Dudhope Young People’s In‑patient Unit and local partner agencies.

Support and Development
Tailored and supportive line management accompanies one‑to‑one, peer group and multi‑disciplinary supervision structures. There is an established dynamic monthly CPD programme and a local CAMHS training group. We host D.Clin.Psych, CYP MsC and PIAT trainees.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide therapeutic care to children, young people and families within CAMHS settings.
* Deliver 1:1 therapeutic, family and group interventions across a range of modalities.
* Engage in early intervention, specialist work streams and consultation within the team.
* Contribute to departmental research, audit and local/national teaching and training.
* Collaborate with other professional groups and partner agencies.
Qualifications
* Previous clinical experience of working with children and adolescents, essential.
* Experience within CAMHS settings, essential.
* Experience working collaboratively with other professional groups and partner agencies, desirable.
* Published research or audit, an advantage.
Additional Information
An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 is available to successful candidates.
