About the Programme

Year 1: Classroom Experience (Cover Supervisor Role)
* Work in a Bournemouth secondary school in a Cover Supervisor role
* Supervise classes when teachers are absent, ensuring students complete pre-set work
* Gain confidence in classroom management and behaviour support
* Focus on developing skills—no lesson planning or marking required
* Build strong relationships with staff and students ahead of teacher training
Year 2: Salaried Teacher Training
* Transition into a salaried Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme with the same school or trust
* Work toward Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) while being fully supported by mentors
* Earn a salary while you train, combining classroom teaching with professional study
