About the role

You'll be managing our Smithford Way branch, a popular and recently opened city centre location, which has gone from strength to strength, generating significant income that plays a vital role in funding our work.
Our charity shops rely on high-quality donated items to sell, along with new merchandise and gift aid,
As a Charity Shop Manager, you'll:
* Recruit and effectively manage volunteers - who are essential to the running of our shops
* Oversee store layout including enticing window displays
* Generate high-quality stock donations through customer and community interaction
* Oversee sorting and processing of stock donations & deliveries
* Undertake administration, till and cash procedures, and sales reporting
* Maximise sales e.g. by promoting Gift Aid and our fundraising Lottery

About you
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Retail experience
* Experience of leading a team of volunteers
* Confidence in calculating figures and working with financial targets
An enhanced DBS check including the children's barred list will be required for this role, because it involves managing volunteers under the age of 16. We will cover the cost of this check.

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire. Our charity shops and online selling platforms play a significant role in raising funds to enable us to provide our services.
