Join to apply for the Service Lead - Early Help role at Gloucestershire County Council.
The post is a fixed-term opportunity to lead a number of teams within the Early Help service, reporting to the senior service manager, and to ensure a consistent, impactful service for families.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a number of teams within the Early Help service, ensuring delivery of high-quality support for children and families.
* Provide leadership to service managers and team managers, offering guidance and strategic direction.
* Maintain a quality assurance role, analyse team performance, and drive continuous improvement to deliver the best outcomes for families and communities.
* Collaborate with partners and multi-agency professionals to ensure effective early help interventions across the county.
* Contribute to service planning and development within Gloucestershire County Council’s systemic social work approach.
About You / Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 complete years of relevant experience working in/across Children’s Social Care and Early Help delivering direct interventions to children and families.
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional qualification relevant to Children, Young People and Families.
* Solid understanding of the Early Help offer across the county and the role of partnership in delivering this, with the ability to advise and guide current service managers.
* Full driving licence and access to a car.
* Experience in quality assurance, analysing team performance, and ensuring effective service delivery.
Benefits & Conditions
* Salary: £53,937 - £57,844 per annum (subject to experience)
* Hours per week: 37
* Contract Type: Fixed Term (18 months)
