Responsibilities
* Perform quality control checks on medical instruments and equipment received from hospitals.
* Inspect instruments for cleanliness, damage, correct assembly, and full functionality.
* Accurately document QC outcomes and non-conformance reports in line with departmental processes.
* Manage the quarantine area for non-compliant instruments.
* Collaborate with suppliers and sterilisation units to resolve quality issues.
* Report all events relating to instrument condition and processing.
* Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain organised, safe, and well-kept work areas and equipment.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong observation and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards and ISO 13485 compliance.
* Clear verbal communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

* Strong awareness of health and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven knowledge of instrument handling and identification.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in sterile services, medical device decontamination, or a similar role.
* Familiarity with Excel, digital systems, and documentation processes.
* Background in working with strict quality assurance frameworks.
* Demonstrated ability to perform accurate and reliable quality checks.
