Position: Patient Services Officer
Band 2 – £25,694 - £27,900 pro rata
Distant Islands Allowance pro rata + £1,406
Hours 37 Hours per Week
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support and customer service within the Patient Services Department as part of a team in a changing environment.
* Based in Medical Records, Western Isles Hospital.
* Support the reception and administrative functions to assist patients and visitors efficiently.
Qualifications & Experience
* A good general education.
* Experience of working with the public in an administrative role.
* Demonstrable good communication skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.
* Computer literacy and attention to detail are essential.
Additional Details
* Training for the position will be provided in-house.
* Subject to Disclosure Scotland checks.
* The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
* Location: Western Isles Hospital; not eligible for relocation expenses.
