Job Description
* Oversee the financial and commercial management of construction projects.
* Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders and contracts.
* Track changes to design and construction work, adjusting budget projections accordingly.
* Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure all specifications are met.
* Ensure quality compliance and risk management.
* Coordinate and lead the procurement process.
* Manage subcontractor agreements and payments.
* Report on financial performance to upper management.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:
* A degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
* Significant experience in a similar role within the property industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction, procurement and project management.
* Excellent negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in relevant software programs.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* A membership in a relevant professional body would be advantageous.
