Job Description
As a Property Portfolio Manager, you will be part of our Collections, Recoveries and Customer Support team. You will manage a portfolio of accounts as well as assisting our development funding team, completing account reviews and site visits to ensure full knowledge of the customer, their situation, and the security to identify the right course of action mitigating risk and financial loss. You will play a key role in proactively managing loan lifecycles, addressing enquiries, and identifying further opportunities for both the company and our customers.
As a Property Portfolio Manager, we are looking for someone to:
11. Identify and effectively manage customers requiring additional support, ensuring the most appropriate and tailored assistance is provided
12. Proactively undertake security reviews to identify potential issues and to serve as an early warning system and ensure the relevant action is employed where appropriate
13. Work with third parties to ensure accounts under receivership and/or litigation are managed appropriately
14. Proactively identify and report on loans nearing expiry where payments are falling due, engaging with borrowers to discuss exit strategies and collaborating with relevant teams as necessary
15. Supported the development team in managing loans throughout their entire lifecycle, funding, further advances, loan exits, including customer engagement for assisted sales
16. Meeting new, existing customers, and assessing lending opportunities within a manageable radius of Cheadle HQ
17. Proactively undertake site visits to better understand our security position, as well as assisting the development funding team in assessing the quality of work, programme, compliance etc
18. Assist with the management and updating of monthly portfolio data, driving the completion of all necessary actions to support effective portfolio meetings
Qualifications
Essential
19. Experience of working in a Collections and Recoveries environment
20. Experience of Property and/or the Development Funding sector, to include technical aspects of development
21. Experience with Relationship Management
22. Ability to demonstrate end to end case management
23. Able to problem solve and make decisions balancing customer and commercial considerations
24. Able to have difficult conversations and objection handle
25. Able to take a flexible approach; providing creative solutions and adapt to change
26. An excellent understanding of what a good customer outcome looks like
