If so, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) is seeking a HR Recruitment Advisor – Strategic Projects to join the Directorate of Corporate Services is responsible for the effective delivery of Corporate Services to the Maritime & Coastguard Agency (MCA). Corporate Services includes Communications, IT, Procurement, Finance, Health & Safety, Human Resources, Internal Audit and Assurance, Programme Management Office, and Property & Facilities. Human Resources is a key enabling function responsible for the planning and delivery of the MCA's People Strategy and a full range of HR services including Organisational Design and Development, Talent Management Employee Relations, Volunteer support, Reward and Resourcing, Planning and Governance. Find out more about what it's like working at: Maritime and Coastguard Agency - Department for Transport Careers As a HR Recruitment Advisors for Strategic Projects you will work with all directorates within the Maritime and Coastguard Agency to provide effective support and guidance on the MCA’s vacancy holder led recruitment service, ensuring compliance to MCA and Department for Transport (DfT) processes and wider Civil Service Recruitment Principles. You will work alongside the other members of the recruitment team to help provide team resilience and ensure that recruitment to vacancies is compliant and run smoothly. Your responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to: 1. Acting as the key point of contact for hiring managers to offer guidance, administrative support and manage their campaigns, including: Vacancy creation Advice and guidance on how best to source the required talent for their vacancy Assessment design Advertising and marketing Pre-employment checks and onboarding including medical health checks. 2. Ensuring that all resourcing services provided across the MCA are consistent and in line with industry best practice including GDPR and the Civil Service Recruitment Principles. 3. Creating and deliver training on all aspects of resourcing as required by the business. 4. Working closely with the MCA Communications Team, to design and review content for MCA social media plans regarding recruitment. 5. Proactively source new candidates for specific roles using tools such as LinkedIn. 6. Meeting and liaising regularly with internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining strong relationships such as with DfT’s Recruitment Hub.
