Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide practical advice, information, and support on issues including tenancy sustainment, education, employment, and life skills.
2. Promote personal independence among service users.
3. Support service users in improving their mental health and managing physical health problems or substance misuse.
4. Ensure safe, well-maintained housing for all service users.
5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, encouraging their participation in decision-making.
6. Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to provide comprehensive support.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with organisational policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience in housing support or similar roles.
2. Understanding of mental health issues, substance misuse, and challenges faced by vulnerable individuals.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and within a team.
5. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to support.
6. Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or related fields.
7. Knowledge of local services and resources supporting service users.
8. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
