Lavington School is seeking to appoint a committed and highly motivated Head of History. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
In this role, your duties and responsibilities will include providing leadership and direction to faculty members. Line managing and mentoring teachers, providing them with support and guidance. You will have the opportunity to promote high-quality teaching practices and pedagogy within the faculty by maintaining effective communication with faculty members, other departments and school leadership. You must be constantly ensuring that students are making appropriate progress and achieving their potential while setting high expectations and securing high standards of behaviour across the faculty.
