Location: Brigg
Salary: 50k-60k
An opportunity has become available for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a busy commercial team working across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
The role will involve overseeing the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring commercial performance and cost control throughout delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the commercial aspects of civil engineering projects
* Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
* Managing subcontractor accounts, variations and payments
* Monitoring project costs, budgets and forecasting
* Identifying and managing commercial risks
* Supporting operational teams with commercial guidance
* Managing change control and contractual matters
* Producing regular commercial reports for senior management
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering
* Strong background within civils/infrastructure projects essential
* Experience across highways, drainage, earthworks, utilities or RC structures preferred
* Good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts

* Full UK Driving Licence
