Up to £40K plus commission - £50K+ OTE
Our system company, AKA Recruitment, is excited to present this Sales Manager role for a family-run client based in the Blackburn area. Working Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, this is a great opportunity to earn a strong basic salary of up to £40k plus commission.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Sales Team and Business Relationship Manager to achieve individual and team sales targets.
* Implement effective coaching, training, and performance monitoring practices monthly.
* Conduct daily or as-needed sales meetings to drive alignment and momentum.
* Set clear objectives and oversee performance management of team members.
Sales Operations & Strategy:
* Oversee inbound and outbound sales activities to meet targets and industry standards.
* Monitor and maintain the quality of sales lead streams.
* Ensure proper usage of CRM systems and update workflows as needed.
* Supervise the cleansing and maintenance of sales information and lead data.
* Maintain strong communication across internal departments to support sales efforts.
* Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to align strategies.
* Partner with HR on recruitment and hiring processes.
* Coordinate with external delivery partners for smooth operations.
Customer Relations & Business Development:
* Oversee customer processes, ensuring satisfaction and positive reviews.
* Support the Business Relationship Manager in maintaining strong external relationships.
* Proactively suggest developments and updates to foster growth.
* Stay informed about industry trends to inform strategy.
Reporting & Communication:
* Provide monthly sales performance reports and feedback to senior management.
* Present ad-hoc reports as needed.
* Offer regular updates on sales opportunities and potential growth areas.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years’ proven experience in sales management.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Data-driven with a creative and strategic approach.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a team.
* Preferable experience within the renewable energy sector.
* Willingness to travel for on-site content and client interactions.
* Proficiency in IT and confidence with various platforms and CRM systems.
