Key Responsibilities
* Manage a full and varied caseload of commercial and residential conveyancing and landlord and tenant transactions from instruction through to completion.
* Deal with leases, lease management (acting for both landlords and tenants), sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity.
* Advise developer clients on development projects and property finance, covenants, road/sewer adoption.
* Advise management companies on acquisition of reversionary interests, leasehold/freehold, restrictive covenants on title, corporate governance under Articles of Association.
* Provide Corporate, Banking and Litigation support.
* Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and a proactive approach.
* Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, estate agents, surveyors, accountants and other solicitors.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor, with one to three years PQE.
* Proven experience of managing files independently.
* Ability to work well in a team.
* Strong drafting skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills with ability to manage tight deadlines.
* Excellent communication and client care skills.
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
* Good academic qualifications.
* Knowledge of regulatory requirements and management of risk issues including Anti-Money Laundering and Data Protection.
