Join us as an Equity Derivatives Lawyer at Barclays Business Banking. In this role, you will provide legal support for the Structured and Strategic Equity Derivatives businesses, advising on transactions, regulatory changes, and strategic priorities.
To succeed, you should be a qualified lawyer in England and Wales, New York, or a Commonwealth jurisdiction, with strong knowledge of equity derivatives products and experience gained in private practice or in-house legal teams within finance.
The role is based in London and involves:
1. Developing legal strategies to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
2. Providing legal advice to the Markets division on relevant products and services.
3. Representing the bank in legal proceedings related to the Markets business units.
4. Creating and reviewing legal documents and maintaining templates.
5. Conducting legal research on regulatory changes.
6. Developing training programs on legal and regulatory requirements.
7. Proactively advising on legal risks and ensuring effective reflection of laws in policies and controls.
As a Vice President, you will:
