Hale Golf Club is a welcoming & prestigious members club, renowned for its friendly atmosphere & high standards both on & off the course. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Chef to join our catering team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in delivering quality food and maintaining the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a consistently high standard.
* Maintain strict hygiene, cleaning, and food safety standards at all times.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment and work areas are cleaned and sanitised regularly.
* Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules in line with club policies.
* Monitor stock rotation and ensure safe food storage.
* Support menu planning and event catering.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent service.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen.
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and cleaning procedures.
* Ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* A proactive, positive attitude and commitment to cleanliness.
