The Role
The Clinical Lead will play a key role in maintaining and developing the high standards of care the home is known for. This position combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, ensuring both residents and staff receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the care and nursing teams in delivering safe, person-centred care
* Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical governance
* Provide mentoring, training, and professional guidance to staff, supported by the in-house training officer
* Conduct audits and drive quality assurance processes across the home
* Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and external bodies to ensure the best outcomes for residents
* Champion the home\'s philosophy of care, promoting dignity, independence, and well-being
The Ideal Candidate
* NMC-registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) - essential
* Proven clinical experience in elderly or dementia care
* Previous leadership experience within a care home or healthcare setting
* Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
* Passionate about quality improvement and person-centred care
* A strong leader who can inspire and develop a dedicated team
