Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location: Bognor
Salary: £90 – £95 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term, Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team in Bognor.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide essential classroom support to students who may need additional help with their learning or social development. You will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive environment, helping each child to engage confidently with the curriculum.
Responsibilities:
* Support individual students and small groups in achieving their learning goals.
* Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
* Adapt learning materials to suit students’ individual needs and abilities.
* Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours.
* Provide support for students with additional learning needs or mild behavioural challenges.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
* Help maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Support students during transitions, break times, and other school activities.
Requirements for a Learning Support Assistant:
* CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance (desirable).
* Previous experience working as an LSA or Teaching Assistant within a school environment.
* A patient, caring, and understanding approach when supporting children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A commitment to promoting equality and inclusion in education.
* The ability to follow teacher instructions and contribute effectively to planning and support.
* An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
