About the role
An office-based role reporting directly to the General Manager, the Office Administrator will be responsible for managing general office procedures in a busy sales and manufacturing business, ensuring processes and duties in the office flow efficiently.

You'll be the backbone of our office operations, so we're looking for someone who is reliable, approachable, and capable of juggling multiple priorities with ease. Whether you're managing correspondence, answering phones, handling data, or supporting wider team needs, you'll need to be adaptable to handling multiple tasks.
Ideally you'll possess prior experience in office administration (or be eager to apply transferable skills). Excellent customer care and service is our priority, therefore you will need to have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. The role requires someone with excellent attention to detail, accurate data entry capabilities and a proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
Key tasks will include:
* Answer incoming calls and schedule appointments
* Manage the General Manager's diary
* Answer/direct general customer and supplier emails and postal correspondence
* Orders office supplies and manage budget
* File and archive accurate records
* Check and maintain factory quality records
* Assists with managing health and safety including fire regulations within the office
* Monitor training material and ensures all documents are current
* Provide administrative support for the General Manager as needed
* Record staff and operatives' attendance and pass details to payroll
* HR administration
