Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
* Plan and carry out key quality functions within the organization and control routine quality assurance tasks.
* Lead and influence quality improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and collaborate with site management teams to continually improve projects, processes, and daily activities.
* Assist production in resolving non-conformances, providing timely investigation into root causes and working closely with shop floor personnel to identify improvement opportunities.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
* Report KPIs, perform data analysis to support investigations, and conduct monthly analysis.
* Conduct internal audits of customer and internal documentation, verify and file evidence of reviews.
* Develop corrective actions and monitor progress for closure.
* Review customer quality specifications, implement them within internal systems, and manage records.
Qualifications
* Experience in Quality and within an ISO9001 or AS9100 environment.
* Internal audit training or experience with audit activities is required.
* Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is advantageous.
* Experience in aerospace industry and NDCAP is desirable.
