Adjacency Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a long-standing client and well-established Cheltenham business in the recruitment of an experienced HR Advisor .
Reporting directly to the Head of HR, this is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and confident HR professional to take ownership of HR policy updates and provide first-line advice and support to managers and employees across the business. You will also play a key role in employee relations, performance management, and learning & development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor, review, and update HR policies to ensure compliance with current employment legislation
* Lead and support all recruitment activities
* Provide first-line HR advice and guidance to managers and employees
* Maintain accuracy and efficiency across HR and Payroll systems
* Manage Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, and Parental Leave processes
* Produce monthly HR reports as required
* Plan and coordinate the annual Wellbeing Calendar of events
* Support the Head of HR with employee relations investigations, including disciplinary and grievance processes
About You:
To be considered, we would expect your CV to display:
* A minimum of 3 years’ generalist HR experience
* A solid understanding of current UK employment law
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* A proactive, action-oriented approach
* A collaborative mindset and team-focused attitude
