Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Truro seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About the Role
You will be working within a vibrant Early Years setting, supporting children at a crucial stage in their development. This role combines whole-class support, small group work, and 1:1 intervention, helping young learners build confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday) starting in September, offering consistency, progression, and the chance to become a valued member of the school community.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting children across EYFS (Nursery/Reception) in daily classroom activities
* Delivering targeted phonics, literacy, and numeracy support
* Providing 1:1 and small group interventions where needed
* Helping to create a positive, nurturing, and stimulating environment
* Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN where required
* Working collaboratively with teachers and staff to enhance learning outcomes

What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (essential)
* Experience working in an EYFS or primary school setting
* Strong understanding of early child development and learning through play
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach
* Confidence supporting children with varying needs, including SEN (desirable)
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
