Do you love working in housing and supporting your local community? If so, consider becoming a Neighbourhood Assistant. You will be providing essential support to the neighbourhood team in Somerset, working alongside other neighbourhood assistants and being supported by a Senior Neighbourhood Officer.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Work in a fast-paced environment providing administrative support to the neighbourhood officers and handling a variety of customer queries by phone and email.
* Manage the mutual exchange process, tenancy changes and updating tenancy records, alongside other tenancy queries.
* Occasionally be out and about completing mutual exchange visits and supporting neighbourhood inspections across the county, providing a mix of housing management exposure and opportunities to develop housing knowledge.
* Perform administrative tasks such as letter writing, mail merges, keeping records up to date and electronic filing; this role can be based from home for the administrative elements.
About You
* Background in housing management with experience communicating with customers about tenancy enquiries.
* Resilient with the ability to deliver messages clearly to customers.
* Attention to detail to ensure electronic filing is up to date and processing is accurate.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for visits.
