Assistant General Manager – Benign Urology (Uro‑Oncology)
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Surgical Specialties Division at University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust for a talented Assistant General Manager to lead our benign urology service.
We are looking for a dynamic leader passionate about quality, patient‑centred care, and our people. You will work closely with the wider MDT to support the operational running of the department while driving improvement across the clinical services.
The role provides key operational leadership across six sub‑specialities:
* Female Urology
* Functional and Adolescent Urology
* Reconstructive Urology
* Stones and Endoluminal Urology
* Andrology
* General Urology
The role is pivotal to the delivery of excellent urology care. You will manage the benign urology administrative team that supports a busy outpatient service and manages inpatient pathways and admissions at WMS and UCH.
The successful candidate will drive performance improvement in Urology, implementing transformation initiatives while maintaining key performance metrics. You will identify opportunities for improvement and growth and contribute to business planning and strategy for the service.
