About the Role
In this pivotal role, you will focus on enhancing engineering and operational performance through a Safety First, Quality Always approach. You will lead a high-performing Engineering shift team, ensuring effective shift management and prioritizing critical tasks across the site.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the shift team in day-to-day reactive, corrective, and planned maintenance activities.
* Monitoring site information channels to allocate trades to the most pressing issues.
* Accountability for the performance of the shift team based on key site measures.
This is a shift-based role, operating on a rotating 4-week schedule of 12-hour day shifts from 6 AM to 6 PM.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will:
* Demonstrate leadership in health & safety.
* Ensure all engineering and maintenance activities meet health and safety standards.
* Implement and adhere to Kerry policies and standards while meeting legislative requirements.
* Monitor maintenance performance against defined KPIs and develop corrective actions.
* Communicate key performance messages and collaborate with other functions for best practices.
* Lead daily and weekly engineering meetings to review priorities and planned maintenance.
* Motivate and develop your team through effective leadership and coaching.
* Manage and deliver the weekly maintenance works schedule.
What You Can Bring to the Role
We are looking for candidates who possess:
* Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification: Diploma or degree.
* Experience: Significant experience in a similar role or previous line management experience.
* Food Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry standards and practices.
* Excellent Troubleshooting Skills: Proven ability to solve complex issues.
* Strong Relationship Building: A track record of building solid working relationships.
* Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of Maintenance best practices and CMMS systems (SAP PM).
* Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
