DUTIES
* Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions
* Ensure proper labelling and packaging of medications
* Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
* Assist in the preparation of compounded medications
* Provide information and counselling to patients regarding medication usage and potential side effects
* Sale of OTC medications
SKILLS
* Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counselling
* Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards
* Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for prescription processing
As a Counter Assistant/Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and knowledge of pharmacy operations will contribute to the overall quality of patient care.
Requirements:
- Nat 5
- Completion of a pharmacy technician program or relevant experience
- Certification as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not required

Due to growth of the pharmacy, we are looking to add another member to our dispensing team. Training will be provided for the right candidate. We are a family run pharmacy with a very experienced team of pharmacists, technicians and dispensers.
